Notes: Born: 2000, spayed female, short hair,

Buttons was
found wandering a resort on Mission Bay by a Rescue House volunteer
and taken into foster care. When taken to the vet, the doctor said
that Buttons must have been someone's pet at some point, because
her external ears had been surgically removed, most likely due to
skin cancer. The vet says she is now completely free of any skin
cancer and is perfectly healthy.
Buttons
loves to crawl onto her foster mom's lap to snuggle, and she will
burrow her head and make "happy feet" the whole time. She likes to
chase balls and is very talkative. She gets so excited by lovins'
she'll even drool a little bit when you pet her.
Buttons is
initially shy and easily spooked with new people and in new
situations, but given time and lots of gentle patience and love,
she will most certainly will come to trust & bond with her new
human guardian(s)---just as she did with her foster mom. Buttons
would do best in a quiet home without dogs or young
children.
Buttons gets
very stressed in unfamiliar surrounding so she is waiting to be
adopted from her Foster Care Home. Please contact Gail Olson 619-296-6003 or

Short Hair Mix

Notes: Zazi: born April 1998, spayed female, short hair, grey
tabby with white
Luli: born
April 1998, spayed female, short hair, grey & black tabby with
white
These 2 sisters were rescued off the street as kittens 8 years ago
by a nice lady and adopted into a loving home. However, after 8
years in that home, their human mom was moved into a senior care
facility and could not bring Zazi & Luli with her. Both Zazi
and Luli and their human mommy were devastated.
So, these two sweet girls came back to the home of the nice lady
who first saved them, and are now looking for a new, quiet, and
permanent, home. They have also been together since birth, are very
attached, & so must be adopted together.
Zazi and Luli can be initially shy and easily spooked with new
people and in new situations. But despite their wary nature, both
girls have proven that---with lots of love, & quiet, gentle
patience---they most certainly will come to trust & bond with
their new human guardian(s) as they did with their previous
one.
Here is what
their former guardian had to say about them:
At times, when I (mother) was having a very bad night due to pain,
Zazi and Luli were always there for me. They'd sit right by me on
the bed and I called them my little nursemaids. They are so loving
and usually want to slip between the covers and cuddle close to
me.
Bye bye my sweet cats. I will miss you terribly.
Zazi & Luli get very stressed in unfamiliar surroundings so
they are waiting to be adopted from their Foster Care Home. Please

GEORGE &
GRACIE
We are a brother and sister pair
that recently lost our home when are
human parents were no longer able to take care of us.
Now we are being fostered by a kind
family, but they cannot keep us because they have too many cats
already! We are both very loving, enjoy lots of cuddles, enjoy
sitting on laps, and sleeping under the covers with our foster
parents at night. We are also playful at times and very talkative.
We have been together since birth and are very attached, so we
would like to be adopted together.
We are both very healthy 4 year olds, have
been examined by a licensed veterinarian, have tested negative for
FeLV/ FIV, are spayed and neutered, de-wormed, de-flea-ed, and
update on our vaccinations. would you like to be our new
family?
